RIGHT, LEFT -- SPIN - SAKOTSU
Description
This technique starts with uke attacking with roundhouse right and
left punches; tori blocks with left and then right shuto uke blocks, then
rotates uki's body by placing his left hand under uke's right arm
and his right hand over uke's left arm, and turning the body. Then,
tori performs a sakotsu to the back of uke's neck.
Steps
- uke attacks with right roundhouse
- tori blocks with left shuto uke
- uke follows up with left roundhouse
- tori blocks with right shuto uke
- tori transfers left hand under uke's right upper arm, and right hand
over uke's left upper arm.
- tori rotates uke's upper body into forward-and-down facing
position by pushing clockwise on uke's arms.
- tori blocks out uke's right arm with his left arm
- tori strikes to back of uke's neck with right-hand sakotsu.
