2 on 1 WRIST -- ULNA PRESS
Description
Yet another ulna press technique. This one is different only in it's initiation. Uke starts by stupidly grabbing tori's right wrist with both hands. Tori begins by bringing his right hand in toward his body. This maximizes tori's strength and leverage and extends uke's arms, reducing his. Tori rotates his right hand in a clockwise direction, while stepping to the rear with the right foot in preparation for a military step, and placing the small finger of his left hand just above the uke's elbow. Uke will be unable to hold on after a certain point, due to the angle at which his wrists grab tori's. Tori continues the clockwise motion with his right hand deliberately under uke's right, so that shortly after the top of the rotation, tori may grab uke's right wrist to continue the ulna press as outlined in RIGHT BLOW, block -- ULNA PRESS.
Steps
- Uke grabs tori's right wrist with both hands. Uke sure is dumb.
- Tori rotates his right hand in a clockwise motion, while stepping back with his right foot in preparation for a military step.
- Tori rotates his right wrist and grabs uke's right wrist with his right hand, while placing his left pinky just above uke's right elbow.
- Tori executes military step, pulls uke's right wrist toward tori's right ear, and rotates his left hand around uke's upper arm, placing pressure on the radial nerve just above the elbow
- Tori completes military step by bringing uke's right arm to tori's right hip, and finishes the rotation of uke's right arm so that uke's arm is entirely straight in front of tori with elbow pointing up.
- Tori applies pressure with his ulna to the radial nerve under uke's triceps, while lifting up slightly with right hand to increase the pressure on the nerve.
- tori should be able to move uke easily around in a clockwise circle by doing more military steps and maintaining pressure on uke's arm.
