ATTEMPTED HEADLOCK -- SAKOTSU
Description
When uke attacks tori with an attempted headlock, tori ducks under uke's right upper arm, optionally head-butting uke in the ribs. Then, guiding the right armover tori's head with a cat's-paw wiping motion, tori pivots slightly on his left foot to create some striking room, and strikes with a right-hand sakotsu to the neck.
Steps
- uke attempts to apply a headlock with the right arm on tori
- tori ducks under uke's right arm, optionally head-butting uke's ribcage
- tori uses a "wiping" motion with left hand to escape uke's headlock.
- tori applies sakotsu to uke's neck - vertical strike to exposed (5th Cerivical)vertebra.
